SINGAPORE: Two men aged 25 and 26 years old will be charged in court on Thursday (Sep 3) for dangerous driving and taking part in an unauthorised speed trial, the Singapore Police announced in a press release on Monday. The two were arrested during enforcement operations conducted by the Traffic Police at an illegal dangerous driving hot spot along Seletar Link earlier this year, said the release. “Subsequent investigations revealed that one of the men had driven his car at a speed of approximately 140km/h, which exceeded the road speed limit of 60km/h,” the police added. If convicted for dangerous driving, the men may each face a fine of up to S$3,000, a maximum of 12 months in jail, or both.
