Low: PAP's 'nonsense accusation' is a personal attack #SGelections

WORKERS' Party (WP) chief Low Thia Khiang has defended himself against the People's Action Party's (PAP) allegations of messy accounts in the Hougang Town Council, saying he would have been sued by now if he had done anything untoward. At the opposition party's rally in Punggol East on Tuesday night, he slammed the 'nonsense accusation' as 'a personal attack' on him. 'In this election, I would like to take time to tell you more about the WP's message and not have to answer to such nonsense accusations,' said Mr Low, who had been MP of Hougang for 20 years. His rebuttal was aimed at Mrs Lim Hwee Hua, a Minister in the Prime Minister's Office, who is one of the five PAP candidates in the Aljunied GRC where he is contesting with the top WP team.
