PAP needs to review way it governs: George Yeo #SGelections

WHATEVER the results of the general election, the People's Action Party will have to take a very hard look at itself and review the way it governs, said Mr George Yeo. The Foreign Minister observed that the run-up to Saturday's polls has surfaced a level of anger and resentment towards the government and the PAP, which he said cannot be ignored. And if elected, Mr Yeo, who leads the PAP team in the fiercely-battled Aljunied GRC, pledged that he and his team-mates would be 'advocates of reform' within the party, the government and the Cabinet. In an interview with The Straits Times and Chinese-language daily Lianhe Zaobao on Thursday morning, Mr Yeo, whose team is facing off the Workers' Party 'A' slate led by Mr Low Thia Khiang, acknowledged that 'there is considerable resentment against the government and its policies, and some of them run deep'.
