Assembly centres for Polling Day

Assembly centres for Polling Day

FIVE locations across the island have been cleared for election candidates, supporters and members of the public to wait for election results on Saturday (May 7). These assembly centres will be open from 8pm on May 7 until 30 minutes after the last result is announced. In the east, People's Action Party (PAP) supporters may gather at Bedok Stadium, while Hougang Stadium has been booked for Workers' Party (WP) supporters. Toa Payoh Stadium in the central zone and Jurong West Stadium in the west have been reserved by the PAP. Clementi Stadium, also in the west zone, will also be open and was secured by the Reform Party (RP). Police officers will be on scene to ensure the safety and security of the public.
