TOMORROW, Singapore goes to the polls for the 11th time since independence. About 2.2 million adults aged 21 and above in all constituencies - except in uncontested Tanjong Pagar GRC - will head for 732 polling stations. Here we answer voters' frequently asked questions, with responses from the Elections Department, the Handbook For Parliamentary Election Candidates 2011, and experts. What do I do if I have not received my poll card by today? If you have not received it or have lost it, find out where to vote at www.elections.gov.sg or call the General Elections hotline on 1800-8180-088. You can get a new poll card at your neighbourhood community centre. Take that and your identity card to the polling station. Can I take my children to the polling station as there is no one to take care of them? Parents are urged to make arrangements so that they need not take their childr...
