Call Of Duty: Five other video games set in Singapore - The Straits Times

The Singapore setting in the upcoming Call Of Duty: Black Ops III game is not the first time that the Republic has been featured prominently in a video game. Here are five games that showcase the Little Red Dot. 1. Battlefield 4 Players take on the role of Sgt Daniel "Reck" Recker, commander of a US special operations squad and as part of the game's campaign, players have to mount an assault on a Chinese-controlled Changi Airport, to destroy the planes that have been grounded there by a storm. In the game, players can see the three towers of Marina Bay Sands in a distance, and also signs pointing to Changi Airport. Alas, everything else about Singapore featured in the game is highly fictionalised. For example, the vehicles in the game sport licence plates with Chinese characters. 2.
