Online forums in Singapore see jump in no. of people trying to sell their 1st generation iPad in hopes of upgrading

There were over 3,000 listings from users trying to sell their old iPads in hopes of upgrading to the new version. -- PHOTO: AFP EVEN as Apple fans in Singapore eagerly anticipated the launch of the iPad 2 tablet here last month, another kind of frenzy was seizing online forums. People were dumping their old iPad, hoping to upgrade to the newer one. According to online forum HardwareZone, there were more than 3,000 listings from people trying to sell their iPad last month. This was a huge jump from about 500 similar listings on the website in February. Read the full report in Monday's edition of The Straits Times.
