Tablets lead to paperless future - AsiaOne #semantic

THE paperless society is no longer a myth. With the dawn of tablet devices that has emerged in the market just recently, a new medium is born and will change the way we all handle digital content. But not many people get the idea of how a tablet can simplify lives, that is, until they actually use them. Thanks to Apple who has revolutionised the way tablet computers should look, feel and function, and take full advantage of today's semantic web (Web 3.0), we are seeing these new form factor devices quickly creeping into the computing market. Tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Acer Iconia Tab are already sold at our local stores, and pretty soon we will see the arrival of the BlackBerry Playbook, the Motorola Xoom and the HP Slate. Though tablet computing may be a mere luxury for now, it's only a matter of time before they become mainstream devices for everyday ...
