SHOULD your next smartphone purchase be based on the size of its app store? According to a PCWorld analysis, it shouldn't. The online tech site said the majority of the iPhone's most popular apps are also available on Android, Windows Phone 7, Palm, RIM BlackBerry, and Nokia phones dispelling the smartphone buyers' myth that claims "the bigger the app store, the better the phone". But it really depends on what you use the phone for the most. If you like to play games on your smartphone, then the iPhone is your best bet. According to Nielsen Media Research, games are the most popular app category, with 61 per cent of surveyed smartphone owners having run a game app on their handset in the past 30 days.
