Customer Satisfaction In Retail Sector Increases 3.5%: Service and quality were main factors for higher satisfaction.

Customer Satisfaction Index of Singapore (CSISG) reveals that the customer satisfaction score in the retail sector has risen 3.5% to 70.6 points - the highest since the Index was introduced in 2007. According to the Institute of Service Excellence (ISES) , which is under the Singapore Management University , this is the second year in a row that the score has risen. ISES noted that customers were also more satisfied with the services in the vehicle, jewellery, fashion, furniture and supermarket sub-sectors. It also observed that customers were more satisfied with good service and quality rather than just lower prices. The study surveyed 8,621 people, including 5,874 Singapore residents and 1,403 tourists. The CSISG also released the customer satisfaction score for the info-comm sector.
