Mr Don Gorske was honoured at a ceremony marking the meaty milestone after eating yet another Big Mac at a McDonald's in his hometown of Fond du Lac. The 57-year-old Gorske says he first ate a Big Mac on May 17, 1972, after buying a car. He actually ate nine that day and has gone only eight days since without eating one. Most days he eats two.
