Girl gets "dead arm" with no feeling fixed; many teenage boys wonder how they can get that problem.

KUALA LUMPUR - THREE years after receiving public donations, four-year-old Woon Jia Xin who suffers from obstetrical brachial plexus palsy, was finally able to undergo an operation to fix her 'dead arm'. Jia Xin suffered from the condition since birth when the doctor who attended to her delivery had to pull the rather big baby out, causing the injury to her right arm. Her mother Lai Chow Ming said the child would bite her fingers on her right hand until it bled but felt no pain. MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong, who helped raise RM80,000 (S$32,770) from the public for the surgery, said an operation was performed at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Saturday.
