Giant media screens unveiled in Bugis Street makeover

Singapore: Eight media screens along Bugis Street, the largest street shopping location in Singapore will be exclusively marketed and managed by MediaCorp. The appointment as exclusive media partner by MediaCorp's OOH Media sees an expansion of the company's existing retail digital screen network in the ION Orchard and Orchard Central shopping malls. Out of the eight screens at the Bugis area, four will be located outdoors with a pair at Queen Street and one each at Victoria Street and Cheng Yan Place. The rest will be situated indoors and will only be operational later in 2011. "We look forward to bringing a whole new dimension to the vibrant street shopping experience" said Mr. Thomas Ang, Head of MediaCorp OOH Media of the collaboration with Bugis Street Development.
