PPB Group Eyes Expansion Of Flour Business In China, Indonesia And Vietnam PPB Group plans to expand its flour business operations in China, Indonesia and Vietnam through plant acquisitions and building more flourmills to double its production capacity. It was earlier reported that PPB, an affiliate of Singapore’s Wilmar International, intends to boost its flour business in China by buying a 20% stake in each of Wilmar’s 14 flour mills, which it hopes to complete by the end of the year. Meanwhile, the company plans to extend its existing flourmills in Vietnam and doubles the capacity of its flourmill in Jakarta to 2,000 tonnes a year in two years’ time. Significance: PPB Group is cautiously selective over the locations of its new flourmills.
