Thai designers like Anon Pairot have won awards and been lauded in magazines like Wallpaper, while brands like Yothaka and Kenkoon have garnered an international following. The growing repute of Thai furniture has translated into figures: Thailand's Department Of Export Promotion reported that Thai furniture export hit a record high worth of US$1.173 billion (S$1.45 billion) last year.
