These post election gimmicks are to lull the Singaporeans into believing that they have been listened to. It doesn't take much intelligence to figure out all these mickey mouse gestures to appease the crowd's anger shown so clearly in the GE. The composition of the review committee already tells you what the outvome will be. A minor adjustment downward to show to everyone that their concern has been addressed, so time to move on. The problem is systemic, not one off issue. The change we should demand must be a holistic and comprehensive one - the basic attitude towards governance and practice of democratic processes.
