Two New Programmes To Improve Intellectual Property Sector Initiatives will help map career paths for professional enhancement; share new ideas to attract investors. The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) has launched two initiatives to further grow the Intellectual Property (IP) sector. The IP Competency Framework (IPCF) aims to help practitioners understand the skills and competencies needed to be an IP professional, and provides suggested career and training pathways. Under the Framework, four IP occupational levels have been identified and an initial 57 competency units are available. These units are developed for both legal and non-legal IP-related backgrounds. An online platform, ideas2IP , has also been launched.
