Golf: McIlroy rues last hole bogey at Wentworth PGA

WENTWORTH, England : Rory McIlroy was left thinking of what might have been after a bogey on the final hole here on Saturday spoilt his third round in the BMW PGA Championship. The hole had been kind to the 22-year-old Northern Irishman, still recovering from his US Masters blowout, on Friday when a birdie meant he just did enough to survive the cut. McIlroy seized on his reprieve to sink four birdies early in his round on Saturday but a bogey six at the 18th left him with a three-under par 68 and one over par for the tournament. That left him seven behind overnight leaders Luke Donald, Alvaro Quiros and Matteo Manassero, who had yet to tee off again.
