Singapore medical concierges which bring in medical tourists say they are facing cancellations from Saudi Arabia after the deaths of three Saudi Arabian children at Mount Elizabeth hospital. Earlier this month, two Saudi Arabian girls and one boy died within a week after unsuccessful bone marrow transplants at Mount Elizabeth. Rawabi Al-Hazmi, reported to be nine, died on May 14, Darin Al-Areeni, five, died on May 19, the boy, Muhammad Abu Zinadah, died last Friday. It is not known how old he was. Mr Borhan Saini, chief executive of Wellcare Holdings International, said he has received cancellations from five regulars on Friday, reported the Straits Times. The Saudi Arabians were supposed to arrive next month for treatment for conditions such as cancer, but have now suspended treatment until further notice.
