'I hate the rich': S.Korean police investigating man who smashed luxury cars to show his contempt for rich people

POLICE are investigating a 29-year-old man who smashed luxury cars in Daejeon to show his contempt for the rich. The man, identified by his surname Cho, smashed windows and mirrors of some 15 expensive domestic and imported vehicles in an underground parking lot. Before doing so, he beat a Chinese student without provocation. 'Imported cars are pie in the sky for poor people. I hate the rich,' he told police during interrogation. -- KOREA HERALD/ANN
