ITX: Thin / Slim Mini-ITX

On my last day in computex 2011, I went to dig around for more information regarding the all new format that Intel has introduced in the show. The all new Thin Mini ITX. The differences are: 1. No ATX power connectors. Only DC power connection 2. mostly on H61 platform 3. Rear IO ports are low profile. Meaning you will not see the LAN stacking on top of USB ports. All ports to be as low as possible 4. Memory will mostly, if not all, be sodimm only to keep the entire profile low Target users - thin clients, super thin HTPC and any other application that requires thin PC with sandy bridge CPUs (TDP Max 65 watt). When I mentioned "thin", I mean the entire thickness of the system will not exceed more than 5cm. At the intel booth, some manufacturers are showing off their prototypes.
