[TR] Positive response from Singaporeans to protest tomorrow at Hong Lim Park

According to the organizer Mr Gilbert Goh, he has received many replies from employed Singaporeans that they will be attending the event tomorrow at Hong Lim Park, 5pm for displaced PMETs (Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians) affected by the PAP government’s re-employment policies. Gilbert is the founder of Transitioning.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping unemployed Singaporeans. He also stood in the last general election as a NSP candidate in Tampines GRC where his team garnered a respectable 43 percent of the votes. The event hopes to bring to attention the following matters:- 1. Employment Passes and S Passes need to be further tightened up so that middle-classed jobless PMETs have a better chance at re employment opportunities 2.
