The video for the song, Man Down, shows a young woman shooting a man who, we later learn, had raped her the night before. On Tuesday, the Parents Television Council called the clip 'disturbing' and asked television channels to stop airing it. Rihanna responded to the backlash, saying the video is 'art with a message.' 'We just wanted to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address, especially if you've been victimised in this scenario,' the pop star said.
