Brian Joo was in town for his Upclose and Personal Concert , a first ever in Singapore . Attended not only by the locals, fans from Malaysia, Indonesia and as far as Japan flew in to meet Brian in person. A part of R&B duo Fly to The Sky with Hwanhee , Brian has been releasing solo albums since 2006. Looking chic in black and bright red pants, leopard printed high-kicks and shades, Brian Joo was full of smiles whilst greeting the media present at the press conference. As he is always frequenting places like Japan and China, Brian wanted a platform for him to get to know his BFF s in Singapore(Brian’s Family and Friends ), hence the planned event. He explained his dislike for the word ‘Fans’ as he felt it created a distance and barrier between the two.
