Higher roads reduced flood damage

But the extent of the damage was nowhere near that caused by heavy rain almost a year ago. For the first time, Tanglin Mall was the most adversely affected building in the area, apart from others such as Liat Towers, Delfi Orchard and Orchard Towers. Staff of the Massimo Dutti outlet at Liat Towers were seen sweeping out rainwater from the outlet around lunchtime, while neighbours Starbucks and Wendy's appeared relatively unaffected. Lucky Plaza's basement, which was severely affected in the last flood, escaped damage.
