Lytro comes to Singapore: The company just announced the availability of its light field camera in Singapore.

The Lytro in Red Hot (16GB). (Credit: Lytro) The revolutionary, "shoot first and focus later" Lytro camera has finally arrived on Singapore shores, the company announced at an event today. For the uninitiated, the Lytro--unlike typical cameras--has the ability to capture all the light rays from the scene, allowing users to record an image and then view it onscreen or on a PC to refocus on different focal points later. A recent firmware upgrade also empowered it with manual controls for the adjustment of ISO and shutter speed settings as well as the locking of exposure. Available in 8GB and 16GB capacities, the Lytro will retail at S$648 and S$778, respectively, in Singapore stores and will retail in colors such as Red Hot (16GB), Electric Blue (8GB) and Graphite (8GB).
