The Galaxy Note 2 (Credit: Samsung) If you've been holding out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 since the announcement at IFA, as well as given the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S III a pass, your wait is over. The handset has finally made its way to the region--more specifically, Singapore, for S$998 without an operator contract. The 5.5-inch "phablet" will only come in the LTE version, which means if you want to take full advantage of the faster data speeds the handset offers, you will need to sign up for a new 4G plan . If you've registered your interest, you'll be able to collect it on Friday. Otherwise, you'll be able to buy it from stores on October 20 instead.
