Many #snakes seen recently, but no need to #abuse them

Paradise tree snake, a harmless species that feeds mostly on small frogs and lizards. Poor thing. The only dangerous snake you're likely to find in urban areas is the black spitting cobra, and that is easy to recognise. Most other snakes we commonly find in parks and gardens are harmless. Of course, they will bite if threatened and cornered, but most of the time, the snake would rather flee than attack. If you see a snake and want to have it relocated for its own safety (and that of people), call the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Hotline at 9783 7782. Snakes in general get such an undeserved bad reputation. BadBlood13: The paradise tree snake is mildly venomous, but it's not dangerous as the venom is too weak to seriously affect us.
