Singapore named best country to do business again

FOR the seventh year running, Singapore has been ranked the easiest place to do business in the world, according to a new World Bank report. Some of the other countries with similar business friendly regulations include Hong Kong, China, New Zealand and Korea. The report entitled Doing Business 2013: Smarter Regulations for Small and Medium Size Enterprises also found that the ease of doing business in developing countries is at a 10-year high. Sweeping regulatory reforms implemented by 180 economies in the past decade have yielded these results. For example, the average time needed to start a business has fallen from 50 days to 30 days in the past five years.
