He slipped and fell while walking at the Teck Ghee Court Market and Food Centre. Apart from the gawkers and those who made fun of the man, others also took out their mobile phones to snap pictures of the incident. The man's embarrassing ordeal ended when eight Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers lifted and carried him to a lorry that took him to hospital. The man, who works in an antique shop in Chinatown, complained of a pain in his inner left thigh and did not sustain any other injuries.
