Employment outlook still strong for the next quarter: Survey

SINGAPORE - The pace of hiring looks set to remain robust in the next quarter, especially in three sectors, according to an employment survey yesterday. Finance, insurance and real estate, transport and utilities, and public administration and education offer job seekers the most opportunities in the next three months, recruitment firm Manpower Singapore reported. Overall, its Employment Outlook poll in seven sectors found that 32 per cent of employers anticipate adding to their payrolls over that period. While employers are optimistic about their hiring outlook, it remains to be seen whether they can find employees to fill these jobs.
