Head of RP women's wing Ho Soak Harn applies for NSP membership

The Reform Party's (RP) head of its women's wing, Ms Ho Soak Harn, has quit the party and applied to join the National Solidarity Party (NSP). Ms Ho told MediaCorp she quit the RP on May 27, along with at least two other members, when she came to the Elections Department to file expenses on behalf of the RP's West Coast GRC team yesterday. Ms Ho was drafted into the RP's central executive committee in April. She did not elaborate why she left RP except to say that she has a close relationship with some members in the NSP. The 29-year-old said she believed the women's wing "has had many successes" under her charge.
