The sum, contributed by a group of anonymous donors, is meant to support the Thai teen's medical rehabilitation after she lost both legs when she fell off the platform at Ang Mo Kio MRT station and a train crushed them in April. A cheque for the $250,000 will be presented by the chairman of Singapore's Red Cross Society, Mr Tee Tua Ba, to Thai Royal Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn this afternoon at the Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok.
