Singapore Airshow organisers eye S$10m in contracts from Paris show

SINGAPORE : Organisers of Singapore Airshow 2012 expect to fly high in France. They will be at the Paris Air Show next week to secure some S$10 million in contracts. Joining them will be several local firms, forming a compact Singapore contingent at the world's premier aviation and aerospace event. Meanwhile, Singapore Airshow organisers will have their hands full at their own aviation and aerospace bonanza next year. "There'll be lots of one-on-one meetings which we have organised over the past month. And we'll be doing some hospitality, you know, lunches and dinners, to try and sell the advantages of being here in Singapore," said Jimmy Lau, MD of Experia Events, organiser of Singapore Airshow 2012.
