iPad to get Official Facebook App Soon It's been a year since the Apple iPad was launched, and Facebook users have found themselves shortchanged without a Facebook app that's optimized for the tablet's generous screen size and resolution. While you can still download the Facebook for iPhone app onto the iPad, magnifying it to fit the larger 9.7-inch screen is quite an eye-sore. Otherwise, others have resorted to using third party apps such as Friendly or simply conduct their Facebook activities through the Safari web browser. But all this might change in a couple of weeks, should Facebook come through and release its official app, optimized for the iPad.
