S'pore and Australia strengthen partnership in casino regulation

SINGAPORE: Singapore's casino watchdog will launch a full-scale inspection on the two casinos at the end of the year. This is to make sure that the operators are complying with all the rules and regulations. Chairman of the Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA), Richard Magnus, said that the inspection is timely as both Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) and Marina Bay Sands (MBS) would have sorted out any kinks in their operations after being in operation for more than a year. This inspection will be on top of the regular monitoring of the casinos. The full scope inspection would include detailed on-site inspection of electronic gaming equipment deployed in the casinos as well as comprehensive checks on the casino operations.
