She was attacked on a street at around 2am as she was going home, the Korea Herald reported. The police arrested Cho at a highway service station the following day. He later confessed to the crime. But they got into a spat instead. He then stabbed her in her head and abdomen. Lee, lead vocalist of the girl band, made her debut with Iris in 2005. The group's debut single album, Message Of Love, was released that year.
