Cut-off date to register as Overseas Voter for #sgpresident is b4 Writ of Election is issued.

Any Singapore citizen who is residing overseas may apply to be registered as an overseas elector to cast his/her vote at any of the 9 designated overseas polling stations, if he/she satisfies the following qualifying criteria:- As on 1 January 2011: He/she is a Singapore citizen not less than 21 years old; His/her name is listed on a register of electors in operation1 ; He/she is not disqualified from being an elector under any prevailing law; and He/she is not resident in Singapore but has resided in Singapore for a total of not less than 30 days during the three years immediately before 1 January 2011. An overseas Singapore citizen aged 21 and above will have his/her name listed on a register of electors only if, as on 1 January 2011, he/she still has a Singapore residential address registered with the Commissioner of National Registration (at the Immigration & Checkpoin...
