Overwrought article. How does a collective desire, held by the Singaporean cyberspace for a glimpse of the woman-behind-the-man constitute sexism? The public would, naturally, be curious of an individual of such disrepute and of her physical appearance. This is especially true where scandals take a turn for the carnal. One fallaciously assumes that the reason Palmer would risk destroying his marriage and betray his spouse simply because he was compelled to do so by virtue of Ms. Ong’s feminine charms . Putting aside the fact that Singaporean netizens have always held a somewhat morbid interest in metaphorical train wrecks, no one on cyberspace is cyberstalking Ms. Ong because she is female.
