Ski: High 1 Ski Resort

This resort is a good place to pick up skiing. Its bunny hill at 4.2km stands as the longest and most beginner-friendly in Korea. Ski instructors on site are available at a fee for beginners to advance beyond the basics. Another plus is the free regular shuttle bus that takes skiers from the foot of the bunny slope to the start for another exhilarating run. There are 18 slopes measuring 21km in total, making High 1 the third largest resort after Yong Pyong and Muju. High 1 Ski Resort is in Gangwondo, an eastern province known for its ski resorts. It's a three hour and 50 minute train ride from Seoul Station. www.high1.co.kr/eng/main/index.asp
