Singapore resale property prices climb 2.5% in May

Resale property prices continued their upward trend with a 2.5 per cent gain in May. -- ST PHOTO: CAROLINE CHIA RESALE property prices continued their upward trend with a 2.5 per cent gain in May. This a sharper rise from the month-on-month 1.1 per cent rise in the month before. The increases were recorded by the Singapore Residential Price Index - which the National University of Singapore compiles by monitoring the transactions of non-landed completed projects. May's prices in the central region saw a 3.5 per cent jump. Non-central areas saw a 1.7 per cent increase.
