SIWW to tackle water problems impacted by climate change

SINGAPORE : Water problems as a result of climate change - this will be among issues discussed at the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2011 which starts next Monday. The platform, being organised for the fourth time, will focus on sustainable water solutions for a changing urban environment. Climate change has resulted in extreme weather conditions - with severe flooding in some areas and drought in others. And coming up with water solutions for those caught in this will be a focus of discussions during the four-day global water week. This year's water week is going beyond discussing the water you drink. It will also look at water solutions for industries and innovations developed in Singapore.
