From Aug 1, subscribers will have to pay $2 more per subscription, regardless of how many channels they have signed up for. The move affects both existing and new subscribers. The cheapest available package will soon cost $26, while the most expensive will be $383, which includes all available channels. All prices listed are before factoring in the goods and services tax. Ms Iris Wee, StarHub's vice-president of home solutions and content, said the price hike is due to rising content costs.
