Local bloggers @rediscover_SG produce 10-part web series chronicling Singapore's old haunts

SINGAPORE - An ageing baker in a traditional bakery, an old-style playground and a Chinese street opera - these are among the features chronicling Singapore's old haunts and sights in a 10-part mini-series by four students from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Calling themselves the RediscoverSG team, Derek Foo, Lim Song Lip, Jeremy Tan, all 24, and Elizabeth Lee, 22, scoured the island to discover the places and faces Singaporeans grew up with. The series was a result of six months' work by the third-year students from the NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, and was supported by a S$75,000 grant from the National Heritage Board's (NHB) Heritage Industry Incentive Programme.
