Man jailed 2 weeks for filming upskirt video during job interview

SINGAPORE: A 29-year-old woman who went for a job interview got a rude shock when her interviewer used a handphone to film up her skirt. Vernon Loh Chiang Meng, a business development manager with Italia World, was jailed two weeks on Wednesday for insulting the modesty and intruding upon her privacy. The 40-year-old man committed the offence at his office located at the basement of Lucky Chinatown building at New Bridge Road on March 12 last year. Investigations revealed that at around 5pm, the victim visited Loh's office for a job interview for the position of an account assistant. During the interview, which was conducted by Loh, she was asked to do a telephone interview in his office while Loh sat on a chair behind her.
