New York man slams S'pore and PM Lee

What would you do if someone made disparaging remarks about Singapore publicly, in a foreign land? Singaporean Jerence Lim did what came instinctively – he walked up to the man and asked him why he wrote those things. Mr Lim, 32, who works for an airline, was on honeymoon with his wife in New York earlier this month when they came across a Caucasian man dressed in T-shirt and pants and carrying a placard attacking Singapore in Times Square. Said Mr Lim: "Initially, I thought it was someone begging for money and carrying a cardboard asking for help. Then when I saw the words Singapore and Lee Hsien Loong, I knew something was wrong."
