Over the last few weeks, HTC has been rolling out Android 4.1 to several of its handsets. The update started trickling out to the international HTC One X a few weeks ago and managed to land stateside on the HTC EVO 4G LTE late last week . Now, we’re getting reports that the Jelly Bean update for the HTC One XL has been released in Taiwan and Singapore. The 3.17.707.1 update for the HTC One XL weighs in at 658 MB and includes Android 4.1.1 with HTC Sense 4+. New features found in the Android 4.1 update include Google Now, Project Butter, offline text-to-speech and advanced notifications. Sense 4+ is accompanied by a handful of UI tweaks, an updated camera app with Sight Seeing mode (allows you to launch the camera app by pressing the power button) and a new gallery app which sort images by events, time and also maps them out by location.
