Man and woman charged after causing ruckus in porridge eatery in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Two Singaporeans who were allegedly involved in the ruckus that took place at a porridge eatery along Upper Serangoon Road last Saturday were hauled to court on Wednesday morning. Pang Pei Pei, 40, was charged with mischief by throwing bowls, tables and chairs into Heng Long Teochew Porridge restaurant, causing damage to the premises. She allegedly committed the offence with Tan Sung Meng and Ang Sim Poh at around 3.45am last Saturday. They are accused of causing $5,000 (RM15,442) in losses to the eatery. Tan, 46, was charged with committing a rash act by throwing the same items into the eatery. He allegedly committed the offence with Pang and Ang. Police said in a press release on Tuesday that two men and one woman aged between 40 and 53, were arrested after the incident.
