My prayers for this young womans recovery, both physical and emotional. I hope she someday is able to trust people again enough to fall in love and live a good life. Stricter punishment for offenders isn't enough to cure this problem. They already have a life sentence for rape in India. Nothing will deter rapists like these until societies attitude toward women changes. Stop blamming and shaming the victims and maybe more will report the crime so that more rapists are arrested. Seeing that the current law is being enforced is more of a deterent than a stricter law that no one enforces.
