The higher standards will be implemented on 1 September, BCA said. Although its enforcement has been deferred, it is “still a good time to start”, said Senior Minister of State Lee Yi Shyan at the launch of SEF SPACE-Hub yesterday. The agency originally planned to raise the minimum buildability and constructability score requirements this month, as part of a wider series of measures aimed at enhancing productivity in the industry.
